Hi everyone,
I hope you are all well. Once again, this year has been another strange one, hasn’t it? We just don’t know whether we’re coming or going. We’ve had new variants and now with more restrictions in place, it is just driving everyone mad (including me).
So what have I been up to? Well, I have managed to keep on working and for the last 8 months , I had been keeping busy and relatively sane by studying an online course. It was very challenging with working full- time but I have finally done it and passed with flying colours. I’m so happy! So I just need to wait for it to be processed and finalised and get my qualifications. Then who knows? Perhaps make the next step into my career. So onwards and upwards – really looking forward to it. I’ve also reached the big 30! (Oh, my god!!)
I had dreaded it, but then there’s also the saying that ‘Life begins at 30’ so I guess I can say for myself that it is just beginning..
Another thing I would like to mention is how important it is to be aware of mental health. In this current situation, 1 in 6 people have or have had experienced mental health issues. So it’s important to be sensitive and understanding. In these tough times, sometimes a call with someone or even a message to send to someone is all they need. We need to remember that we are only human- we are not emotionless robots that feel nothing can beat or slowly destroy us. Get the help that you need, speak to someone you trust and build a good support network. It is good that society has now become more aware of mental health but all of us can try and do a lot more to prevent more people out there suffering in silence.
Look after yourselves. I will be back again but will be working on a new project in the near future. So watch this space!
