“Sometimes you don’t realise the weight of something you’ve been carrying until you feel the weight of its release..”
Hello everybody. The reason why I am here is to share something with you that’s very special to me. A story of the struggles of pain, loss, grief and also taking time to heal again, while still starting life as a young adult in the big wide world that we all live in.
But before I begin, let me tell you briefly about me. Well.. I’m in my twenties, I have a full-time job and trying to enjoy life as much as possible. You’re probably thinking that I’m also in my ‘twenty-somethings’, doing what mostly all young twenty-something’s do. Working, socialising, spending time with family, catching up with your best pals over coffee and having those few drinks at the long awaited weekends that finally arrive. Sure! That would be bliss, wouldn’t it?
Unfortunately, life has been a little cruel and has faced me with some extremely difficult hurdles and challenges that I felt that I would never overcome. I’d say it has been one long journey so far.
